Roberto Petrini

Journalist of “Repubblica”, he is an observer of the Italian economy. He wrote, among others, Il declino dell’Italia (Italy’s decline, Laterza 2003) and Il grande bluff. Perché non va l’economia di Berlusconi (The great bluff. Why Berlusconi’s economy is failing, Laterza 2002). He collected Paolo Sylos Labini’s biographical witness in the volume Un paese a civiltà limitata (A narrowly civilized country, Laterza 2001) and Giorgio Foà’s biography in the volume Uomini e leader (Men and leaders, Centro Calamandrei 2000). He edited Ernesto Rossi’s anthology of economic writings Capitalismo inquinato, (The spoiled capitalism, Laterza 1993). He writes for “Micromega” and “Critica liberale”.
