Donato Barbone works as consultant for Pirelli & C. S.p.A. for the preservation of the Historical Archives of the Group. He collected and classified Alberto Pirelli’s private archives of which he published Taccuini 1922-1943.
He participated to the foundation and the starting of the magazine «Archivi e imprese». He published several essays on Business History and a biography on Cesare Merzagora.
