Didier Bondue was born in Tourcoing (département du Nord) in 1948.
After his studies in history and political sciences, he developed all his career in the industry with commercial and marketing functions.
In 1989 he started working for Saint-Gobain and, since 2001, he has been the Director of the Saint-Gobain Archives.
He was one of the three commissioners of the exhibition « Saint-Gobain ,une entreprise devant l'Histoire », held in Paris in the Orsay Museum from the 6th of April 2006 to the 4th of July 2006.
Didier Bondue is also the vice chairman of the SBL, Section for Business and Labor Archives of the International Council on Archives (ICA).
