This according to article 43 of the Legislative Decree of 22 January 2004, n. 42, the Code for the Preservation of Cultural Assets, which declares that “the Department for Cultural Assets has the authority to order the transfer or to temporarily preserve in public institution of movable properties in order to guarantee their safety and to ensure their preservation according to article 29”.
