Renato Delfiol

Renato Delfiol (Vicenza, 1951) graduated in Humanities at Florence University in 1975 and in Education in 1985. From 1976 to 1979 he worked at the Biblioteca Marucelliana in Florence and since 1979, after having won an archivist competition, he started working at the Archival Superintendence Office of Tuscany where, since 1985, he has been responsible of the business archives department. He taught in many training programs for general, special and business archive-keeping, cooperating with the Region Tuscany, the provinces of the region and the province of Trento. He taught in archive-keeping courses at the University of Florence in 1999-2000 and 2003-2004 and in a course for Record Manager organized by the Consorzio Fit (2000-2001). He took care of the inventory of the Sacfem Archives drawings in Arezzo and he wrote many articles on business archives and their problems.
