He was co-CEO of Ansaldo SpA and Chairman of Gieinter A.G., a countertrade company of Swiss law supporting the business of the companies which are part of the Finmeccanica Group.
Between 1977 and 1995, he was responsible of the External Relations of some leading Italian Groups such as Ansaldo SpA, Italimpianti and Finanziaria Ernesto Breda.
Between the 1970s and the 1980s, he was, for a few legislations, Chief of the Press Office of the Home Department, the Department of the Treasury, the Department of the Mezzogiorno. He was also Assistant to the External Relations for the Department of the Civil Defense.
Between 1978 and 1980, he was CEO and Editorial Director of the Publishing House Casa Editrice Ave.
He is a professional and a parliamentary journalist and he managed the fortnightly magazine «Ricerca», published by Fuci (Federazione Universitaria Cattolica Italiana); the monthly magazine «Civitas», dealing with political studies. He was head of the editorial staff in Rome of the «Corriere del pomeriggio» of Genoa and Vice Director of the National News Agency ASCA.
