Born in Genoa in 1949. He has been part of Ansaldo Group’s board of directors for Planning and Studies since 1979; in 1980 he took part in the setting up of Ansaldo’s historical Archives; he has been director of Ansaldo Foundation ( Finmeccanica Group) since 2000. Section for Business Archives (Sbl)and member of the International Council of the Archives (Cia); he had been member of the National Commission for the protection of the environment’s cultural and industrial heritage within the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Environmental Conservation. He was scientific coordinator of the Business Archivists’ Italian Group (Giai-Anai); at present he is chairman of the Ligurian section of Italy’s Archival National Association (Anai).
