Lorenzo Pezzica

He graduated in History at Milan University, he specialized in historical and philosophical matters at “Luigi Bocconi” University and he attended the archival school at Milan State Archives. He is an archivist and he is dealing with historical archives reordering and cataloguing (among the last ones the Feltrinelli in 2007 and the Leo Valiani Fond in 2008), with current and deposit archives reordering, with documentary system computerization and descriptive standards.
He taught applied IT science to historical archives at “La Sapienza” University in Rome and he held seminaries and course of IT archival science at Archival Administration, at Lecce, Urbino and Viterbo University and at the archival school at Milan State Archives.
He is part of the Research Project “Archivio del Novecento” at “La Sapienza” University in Rome, he was part of the Study Group on Archival Standardization Rules ISARR (CPF) of the Lombardia Section at the Italian National Archival Association and as a coordinator of the National Study Group on oral sources. He was responsible of the Sesamo Project (study and programming of IT programs for historical archives) of the Lombardia Region.
He published various archival and historical articles.
At present, he is working at Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation in Milan.
