She has a degree in Literature with a major in Modern History at the Università Cattolica in Milan with which she cooperated for a few years, she attended and finished the Archival School and since 1994 she has been working as a freelance consultant on projects and methods applied to current and historical archives belonging to both public and private institutions among which mainly business archives. For the Centro per la cultura d’impresa she took care of the interventions on the historical archives of the Banca privata italiana, the Comitato direttivo degli agenti di cambio and the Consiglio di Borsa di Milano, the Corriere della sera, the Carlo Erba spa and some Chambers of Commerce. In the field of current archives she is one of the planner of the classification plan of Eni Spa and of some companies of the group, the Ministry of the Finance and she was a member of the National committee for the revision of the classification plan of the Chamber of Commerce.
She is a member of the Anai and the ICA representative for the Centro per la cultura d’impresa.
Since 2000 she has been organizing the archival sector of the Lombardia Business Archives Census and she took care of the projects of the Centro for the bicentenary of the Milan Stock Exchange (among which the website www.historytour.it).
She is the author of many publications such as L'archeologia del documento d'impresa. L'archivio del prodotto in «Rassegna degli archivi di stato», in LXII/1-2-3; with Maria Guercio, The management of corporate records in Italy: traditional practice and methods and digital environment in «Record Management Journal», vol. 13, n. 3, 2003.
She works for the supplement «Domenica» of the Sole24ore.
Since December 2009 she has been director of the Centro per la cultura d'impresa.
