He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Milan Polytechnics and got his PhD in Design and Methods of Industrial Engineering at Boulogne University. Currently, he is a researcher in this field at the Mechanics Department of the Milan Polytechnics.
His major research fields are: methods and implementation of the instruments necessary to create virtual prototypes for industrial products, realization of archives of constructive solutions (based also on the study of Mechanics history). In this field, he takes care of the method to realize and use archives of historical constructive solutions as a basis for modern planning. In these field, he wrote around 50 publications in Italy and abroad.
