He worked in Bari at Marsud Shipping Company from 1986 to 1987. In 1988 became a member of Erg’s board of directors for the planning of the group’s strategy; he has been vice-president of Erg Spa parent company since 1991.
From 1994 to 1997 he was vice-chairman of the Manufacturers’ Association of Genoa; from 1997 to 1998 he was president of the Young Manufacturers’ Group of Genoa. From 2000 to 2002 he was president of Confindustria’s Young Entrepreneurs, and vice-president of Confindustria (Italian Manufacturers’ Association).
He has been chairman of the Technical Committee for the impact of federalism on business since May 2004. He has been president of Erg Spa since April 2003.
