The antimonopoly committee was a political failure but the analysis it made managed to give us important results thanks to its special powers which allowed it to know the turnovers of the main Italian industries, their shareholdings, their market shares, their operating modalities and the documents on the prize decisions. Through its work, the committee made some distortions and some changes in the Italian market official, through the comparison among different points of view and after the charges filed during the years on various newspapers.
