The volume highlights the many relations between politics and the entrepreneurial world, analyzing, in particular, the experience of Assolombarda, the industrial association in Lombardia, during the governments of the Left wing in the 1960s (1960-67). Political and economic events of those years (including pay negotiations and the beginning of planning) are reconstructed from the point of view of the journal «L'industria lombarda», but also using trade unions and municipal archives. Vergallo's research offers an interesting interpretation of the left-wing political experience and of how corporate unions faced the new scenario.
